09 November 2006 - PRIESTLEY CRASHES OUT
DENNIS Priestley reached the quarter finals of the Scottish PDPA Players Cham-pionship at the weekend before crashing out to eventual runner-up Mick McGowan.
The Mexborough player chalked up victories against Jason Crawley, Jamie Harvey, Michael Barnard and Raymond van Barneveld to reach the quarter final stage.
But he was well beaten on the day by the on-form McGowan, who failed to drop a single leg in a one-sided match.
McGowan was eventually beaten 3-1 by Adrian Lewis in the final at the Magnum Centre, Irvine.
