Last night Dennis proved how again, he is the man in form and the man to be feared.
In a league were all the matches are nail biters - Dennis decided he was out to demolish Roland Scholten, and he did 8-3. It was a ruthless performance, which puts Dennis in the number one position in front of Barny and Taylor.
Roland Scholten looked like a lost puppy on stage as Dennis put a true exhibition show on for the crowd winning the first 6 legs in a row. In this onslaught Dennis finished legs with a 136, 127, 116, and 77
Dennis by his own admission tried too hard when they came back from the break to whitewash Roland, who snuck 3 legs back, but in true professional form Dennis won the final two legs to complete the most convincing win in the premier league this season.
In an interview after the match an exuberant Priestly said, "It's a great feeling to be on top. I thought I could get the whitewash, but Roland got back in the game a bit although he didn't play as well as he can."
"It's absolutely brilliant to play like that here and when we're in Sheffield near my home town there will be even more there!"
Dennis has quickly turned his critics around who had predicted the intense crowds would put him off, but he seems to be having the time of his life on the oche!
