Dennis has had his blood tests and the count came out extremely low which is good, which means he's safe at the present, however he will still be under consultation every three months to monitor progress.
Dennis still is getting more tired than he used to but able to play darts & perform exhibitions. He has not been playing in recent tournaments simply because through the past three months worrying about the cancer he simply forgot to register in time for them.
You will see him back on the circuit shortly as health is good at present.
Dennis recently did a large Charity Tournament locally to help raise money for a darts league that Dennis used to play in - they all want to thank him for his efforts and all agree that Dennis is one of the best professionals and true gentleman of Darts.
Please remember that Dennis is available for Exhibitions, Personal Appearances, Pro Lessons, and Presentations especially near Ottawa in Canada from May 5th - 26th.
News regarding the Dennis Priestley shirts will be available soon as the fabric and design have been agreed upon and a sample for Dennis to approve should be with us soon

Dennis is in good spirits saying he was getting more and more mobile with less pain every day and is planning to return to the Pro tour circuit, the Players Championship on the 15th of March and the Blue Square UK open Regional Final on the 16th.
Dennis will be seeing the doctors for his blood tests, he said he was now in the care of Doncaster Cancer specialists who recommend the blood test be done after three months. This will determine the success of the operation.
A Note from Dennis
Hi Everyone,
Cheers for signing the guesbook on my website, a big THANK YOU to all of you.
It was very nice to read all the kind messages.
I have been home over a week now and just had my stitches removed. The operation went well and I am just waiting for the results on the removed prostate and then in 6 weeks or so I will be having a blood test to check my PSA level.
Hopefully the results will be good and I will be back playing darts when I am ready.
Again, thanks for your support

Dennis is now in Recovery
Dennis needs time to recover. A prostatectomy is major surgery. He stayed in the hospital for two days after surgery, and now recuperating at home for at least the next three to four weeks. It usually takes about six weeks, however, for most men to feel "back to normal,"
It will be two weeks before the hospital will determine whether most of the cancer was contained in what they took out in the operation, however it will be a further four weeks after that before they can announce if the operation is a true success.
Speaking to Jennifer Priestley - after a very nervous holiday period, the family is now relieved that the operation is over with and that Dennis is now at home. The newest worry is to keep Dennis from catching any viruses whilst he is recovering. This means keeping visitors away - which will be a tough task as Dennis is so popular and family and friends care so much for him.
Once again, all the Priestley family appreciate such tremendous support that has been received and look forward to a speedy recovery for Dennis.
I will hopefully report further in two weeks to Dennis's recovery, but on behalf of the web team in Jenny's immortal words -
"C'mon Dennis"
